Winter is Here!! It's winter special : Gajarpak. Similar as carrots pudding.
Hi Everyone!!
In my previous posts I have shared the recipe of carrots pudding or gajar ka Halwa and forgot to click the pictures from starting.. and many people asked me for that.. so me and my mom decided to cook it again so that I can share all the pictures step by step with you all... and in the winter time we usually cook it at home. It is healthy to eat in winter. And much tastier than gajar ka Halwa. I don't know the exact english word for Gajarpak.
And Thankyou all for your love and support for my that post.
And this time we cooked Gajarpak.. which is similar in recipe but we have to add few more things and cook it for long time and have to make more thick.
Well here we start the post from the beginning how to cook that all...
We need carrots, milk, ghee, khoya, cashews, sugar!!
First we need fresh carrots..
Then we have to grate with the help of grater...
You can use grater machine too but we used hand grater and prepared this.
Then we need a big pan so that we can put the grated carrots and milk together in it.
Here is my mom cooking with me.. she really don't like to take pictures .. haha..
We have to cook it for that when the whole milk will heat up with carrots and started to become a little thick..
Then it will turn brownish too
And here is the proof that I helped my mom in cooking. 😊
After that we will put some pure ghee in it.
Then we will mix it in the whole pudding..
Then if we want to make it much tastier then we will add khoa.. khoa is also a milk product.. and that makes the stuff very delicious..
Then we add the sugar as much required.
Then we will cook it to become more brownish and little chocolatey..
Here is my mom again cooking and there are the cashews. Haha
And finally we will have to wait when it will turn into more brownish. .
So here is the
Gajarpak , and it took us 3-4 hours to make it.
Well, many people asked me that why I haven't shared pictures step by step so here is the whole recipe with the steps.. I hope I will get your love and support for this post too..
