In your words explain what you understand by parenthood |

Parenthood is the stage in life whereby an individual makes it his or her responsibility to take care of their born child. The individual who has made it their responsibility to care and cater for the child is seen to be performing his or her duty as a parent. But in the case were by one fails to care and cater for their child, that particular individual is seen to have failed performing their duty as a parent.
Parenthood doesn’t end at the stage of only taking care of the child but also shaping and forming them into a good person in the society. It is one of the duties of a parent to make sure their wards are morally up right. With that, they can be seen as or regarded as the perfect type of parents. There are several cases where by some parents only concern is about feeding the kids but not trying to shape and build them into responsible individuals or citizens.

They try to keep us together as a family. My parents have indeed sacrificed a lot for me and my siblings. Which they are still doing just to see us become successful and useful to our society one day. My parents and i have been traveling together and doing so many things together too. We sit together in the night as a family, eat and then watch television together. Also, we do talk a lot to them whenever we are together. I really feel lucky and blessed for having them as my parents. This is because they have always being there for me ever since i was born into this world.

Feeding and taking care of the child. Every parents is responsible for the feeding of their wards or children. This is because it is your duty to provide food for them. Also, finding a sound and peaceful place for your wards to call home is your responsibility. That’s where they will be sleeping. Lastly, taking care of them when they are sick is also the duty of every parent.
Educating the children is also the responsibility of the parents. As of today’s world, it very necessary and important for every individual to have a formal education. So as a kid it is the duty of your parents to make sure you receive a formal education that will help you in the near future.
Moral upbringing ; this is one of the role or responsibility of parenthood. Children need to be taught what is wrong and right in the society right from home. Children need to be morally upright and conduct in other for them not to go astray or deviate from the societal norms.

@habdallah, I'm sorry for what you comment on your friend, being a father is not just feeding children when they are small.
In addition to food, they need love, affection, understanding and to be instilled in principles and values.
In addition to guiding them along the path of the good of the parents, the future of the children depends to a large extent.
I have seen many children who, due to the upbringing their parents give them, go down the path of crime and who die for that violent world at a very young age.
You are a lucky young man to have parents who, since you were very young, showed love and gratitude for each other.
In other words, live and have always lived in a happy home.
I share your opinion, fatherhood is a blessing for both men and women.

Yes you said right only taking care is not parenting but how your children will behave, their attitude their forming, their morals are also in parenting.
Good to see that your parents are happily married together after so many years. It is only because they love each other so much and they care for you and your siblings. I pray that they shower their love always on you and yoru siblings.
Yes education is very important and all parents wish that their kids grow in a good society with proper education. They always try to provide us good food no matter how much they have to sacrifice.

Our parents is the first teacher because from them we learn about morally upbringing which help us to this stage we are now.
Every parents will always happy when they see their children doing good things in this life, they are our number one mentor, role model. In fact they are everything. Best of luck
