Czech railways - modern vs. nostalgic traveling

did you know that the Czech republic belongs to countries with the most dense net of railways?
When you travel by train with the mark IC or EC (long distanced lines coming from or continuing abroad) you can expect comfortable passage in a modern train unit with service of stewards, free wifi and clean toilets.
On the other hand when you use a train for a regional passage it is a lottery. You come across a modern unit but you also can have experience of a nostalgic trip to the last century (unfortunatelly, this is more probable).

The raiway stations from the 19th century are beutiful monumental buildings. Impression of them spoils the fact that they became an asylum for homeless people, their infrastructure is old-fashioned, inside and either outside area is not clean and many of them are in squalid state.

přidávám pár fotek vlaků pohybujících se po našich železnicích a jednu fotku z haly brněnského nádraží (bohužel jsem přidal jinou než jsem chtěl a už mi to nejde změnit).
