NASA successfully launches KalamSat .. Artificial satellite made by Indian students weighing 64 grams!

The world's smallest satellite was launched by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). The satellite was designed by a team of students from Tamil Nadu and weighs only 64 grams. Kalamsat was named to commemorate the previous world and the late president, Abi Abdul Kalam.

The small satellite was also launched by a NASA rocket from NASA's Wallops facility. "News Nation" reports that this is the first time an Indian student has been tested by NASA.

Rivaq Sharouq, who helped design the satellite, states that the purpose of the satellite is to demonstrate the strength of the 3D carbon fiber printed. The satellite was chosen through the "Cubes in Space" contest, partly organized by NASA, where 86,000 designs were presented, and the winner's design was designed.

The rules of the competition stipulate that the satellite must weigh exactly 64 grams and fit in a 4 cm cube. Shurooq's effort was also funded by an organization called Space Kids India. The satellite was successfully subjected to 12 minutes of microgravity in space.
