HOW MUCH WATER DO YOU DRINK A DAY?

in #life7 years ago

Water is one of the most beneficial liquid w can drink daily. We use it for everything from drinking, cooking, bathing and sports. Just think of what no it would be like if we had no water? I am huge water drinker and I know how my body reacts or if I don't drink my daily 8 glasses or more. You may think it's weird but I actually crave my water. There are many benefits it has to give your body. We do receive some water in our food like soup broth, celery, and melons among other's.

Our bodies are made up of 60% water. We are suggested to drink 8 glasses a day, but reality doesn't always allow us to do so, but is something we can all train ourselves to do. Water is mandatory for your body to stay hydrated. Without enough in our body it can alter your body temperature, reduces motivation, increases fatigue, and makes exercise more difficult. Studies has shown that mild hydration can also impair your brain functions.

HERE ARE SOME HEALTH BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER:

-We would die without it
-Prevents cancer
-You feel less cranky
-Your whole body performs better
-Weight loss
-Less joint pain
-Flushes your body of waste and bacteria
-Prevents headaches
-Helps your skin, complexion
-It feeds your body
-Prevents cramps and sprains
-Keeps your bowels regular
-Good for immune system
-Flushes out toxins in your body

On average each person drinks 4.2 glasses of water a day but takes in approximately 2,157 calories daily. Of those calories 125 calories come from sweetened drinks and 432 calories came from energy-dense, nutrient poor foods. So everyone make your resolution to drink as much water as you can daily. The benefits are well worth it. Good luck.

I agree with all that you say! Having a jug of water in your workspace and easily reached, ideally very visible, is the best way I find to keep up the intake.
Drinking a couple of glass fulls when you wake up is a good start to the day as well ... but beware the long commute if that is also a part of one's day! Upped!

Yes, your right I will follow you back

Very interesting!

Thank you so much

'We are suggested to drink 8 glasses a day, but reality doesn't always allow us to do so'
how much would that be in liters?

I believe it might be approximately 2 and a half litres give or take. No it really has to do with what your work is and if you have access to a washroom. I'm lucky I do. Thanks for stopping by @steemon I will follow you

Gulp! huge glasses then - I always try to drink some 1,5 litres.
aww, thanks for following... should start posting some.... more =)

Good info thanks upvoted and resteemed!

Thank you so very much

Thanks for the info there. I agree, too many people don't get their needed requirement of water and it can be bad.

That's right. It takes time to get use to it. I will follow you back.

Nice photos and I happen to drink water all day every day ;)

Awesome @tradz I will follow you back

My experience is that you have to pee about 5 times a day. You sweat more in hot weather, you must drink more. Generally we drink too little water. Me too!

We are made of Water :-)

Your right. Thanks for stopping by
