Sunset

Sunset is the daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon of the earth's rotation. As seen from the equatorial region, the equinox sunset sets just west of both spring and autumn. As seen from mid-latitudes, local summers travel southwest for the northern hemisphere, but northwest for the southern hemisphere.
