Learn From The Moon, We Should!
There is so much to learn from the moon. Mind you, a moon does never try to teach us anything, it's only up to us if we want to learn from him anyway.
A moon relaxes and lets gravity take him here and there, lets light kiss him on his cheeks, one at a time. A moon gets judged by people, sometimes for being beautiful, sometimes treacherous, sometimes shy, and, most ridiculous of all: changing!
A moon never takes nor declines credit or critics. Never concerned if people's lives were ugly compared to him in his gleaming fullness, or disturbed if they fail to see him retrieving in the shadows, a moon keeps being himself.

SO...
I was having some summerish night's thoughts last night (yeah in February!) and I had these sentences rolling in my mind preventing me from sleep, which is something that used to happen back when I used to write more often and, to be honest, I was kind of happy I finally had something to write, even if it meant I would stay up even more late in the night (because it started after 1 AM)n which means I'd have some hard time waking up for work. So, for the sake of the trouble I went through, I thought I should probably share this with the world, maybe it would make some sense to someone out there.
I have this weird connection with the moon. I just feel a bit happier after staring at him for a while. Lately, I learned that I'm not alone, this connection actually has a name and people like me are called "Selenophiles".
It feels a bit weird, at this age, to discover I'm a somethingphile. I wonder if I'm also a somethingphobe... But I guess we never actually cease to surprise ourselves.

Hey Selenophile!
It's always a pleasure to read your posts so don't you ever doubt if you should share your thoughts. :)
I always felt more "connected" to the sun, moon always seemed too dark and mysterious which is (in my opinion) closer to my personality so it's weird that I was never really attracted to the moon. Lately, I feel more connected to it and its energy. Maybe it's just something that comes with age, haha.
I'm glad you decided to share this post and I hope you will have more time and inspiration to do it more often! :p
So you're a heliophile then ;)
(it has nothing to do with hell lol)
Well, maybe the sun is hotter but the moon is cooler :p
Thanks for the encouragement ^_^
LOL! This really made me laugh! :D
I thought we were just nocturnal :P
