Consumerism economy

We buy cheap stuff shipped overseas on big cargo ships using diesel fuel. Then we go into put them in our closets. Since we don't have enough space we think we have to have a bigger house . We think that more stuff we make use happier . But it doesn't so we just end up with more stuff and as a result more debt.
