The language of ivrit ( עברית ) Genesis 11, Video #2

in #hebrew5 years ago

Welcome to my Hebrew reading & language series.

Genesis 11:6-9

In Genesis one, The Creator said "Let us make..." as he created everything in six days. Today He says "Let us go down..." as he gets ready to visit Babel, confuse the language of people, and halts the progress of their tower. Then He disperses them over the face of the earth.

This is an information rich passage of three verses and volumes have been written on the tower, the languages, and where all the people went and how.

Instead of theorizing on the above, let's simply look at recent news. The cover photo is from Syria where ISIS deliberately bulldozed ancient city of Nimrod back in 2015 a short time after the destruction in Mosul was reported. They drove heavy equipment over the Nimrud archaeological site where many priceless secrets were being discovered. Yet, it was not discussed on the "news".

Sometimes the media sees something that supports what is written in the Tanakh, and they simply refuse to broadcast that part of the story because it does not line up with their beliefs.

Blessed are those who simply believed what the Creator of all things had said before modern technology uncovered the things He wrote about.

Please have a look and repeat the words after I point and read. See you in the comments section.

Definitely, in some cases, the media refuses to acknowledge an archeological prove of an existence that tallies with their discoveries because it always contradicts what they definitely Believe in an this is sad that they're trying to hide the truth. Thanks a lot for the video link, I was able to see today's teachings

The progress of the times makes people farther and do not believe in the word of God. The war in the Middle East destroyed many historic sites. Your Ibrani language lessons are very useful. thanks.

What a great article, five star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.
Are you from Israel?

In this current century, people have got alot of believes.
Some might choose to believe in the Sabbath, some heaven, some hell, some death and as many as possible and I think that's a major problem in the Christianity cause we ain't one.

Very true. Most Christian sects hold fast to their denominational doctrines while ignoring parts of the Tanakh and B'rit Hadashah - the ones that order them to forgive and stay united. Thanks for your comment.

@hebrew,
ISIS or whatever, who supposed to destroy the history of man kind, should be eliminated. Atleast you shared this heart broken photography! We are from different nations, but we all got a common man kind history, coz our ancestors are came from one location! I imagine that there are many more awesome Hebrew texts to be discovered throughout the Middle East. Many people want to hide the Truth that the Hebrew speaking people and the Hebrew Aleph Bet have been on this land for thousands and thousands of years. Forever.

Nice lesson. And agreed with your thoughts regarding media . Shabbat shalom.
