Today I come to talk about a reality that I realized in the short time I've been in steemit, is that many people (myself included) believe that by posting quality content they will have many votes and therefore a good monetary reward but Not so, I have read many times comments such as "my content is good and almost nobody votes" or it has happened to me that I see simple posts with a good amount of votes and rewards.
After investigating a bit of why this phenomenon happens, I found that there are several factors that must be worked on in steemit to achieve success and not die in the attempt.
Ccommunity
friends Esteemianos believe that this factor is as important as making a good post, I am thinking that you can not have a relevant success in Steemit if you are not in any community, every day more initiatives arise for the support of the new and not so new steemianos, I will regulate some that I have known in my surfing these waters @dlive, @dtube, @openmic
I recommend you go through your accounts so they can be informed of their contests and interact with the community.

If friends Bots, I have noticed that some defend them others criticize them, personally I think they are a useful tool even more so when we are starting since seeing a post for which you worked some hours arrives with luck to 5 votes that demoralizes anyone, the bots can give us that little breath of breath.
I know 3 types (maybe there are more) the first are paid bots, you send them a certain amount of SBD and they will return a clear vote the strength of the vote will depend on the amount of SBD you sent and the number of people who are using the bot in that round. On the other hand we have those who call trial in these you delegate your voting power to an account and that account is the one that decides who to vote for, @ @dineroconopcion one of this type very useful as it is programmed so that we can use the bot every 10 hours. Finally and I think they are the most scarce ones are bots in which you do not have to delegate your voting power but they still support you or you want to support other users that you think have a good post and have not been rewarded, from this type we have @minnowsupport

I think this point is what we all know when we started in steemit but it never hurts to remember, something important that we are not clear when we are starting is that it is important for your post to be considered a good post is always to place the sources of everything what you post that is not your own, so we avoid being flogged because there are accounts that are responsible for verifying that the posts are not plagiarized
