ENVIRONMENTAL USE AS A LEARNING TOOL IN SCHOOL

Learners have characteristics that are active to conduct various activities in the exploration of the environment. Learning needs to lead to the development as well as improve the ability of the learners. Many supporting theories suggest that "the environment of learners is influenced by physical and spiritual growth in a healthy and optimal way".

Teachers need to create a fun learning environment in the neighborhood around the school so as to create an atmosphere of joy and reduce the level of speech for the students.

Learners are good to learn about the school environment, this is the most effective way so that learners can learn well by reproducing the lesson materials received in the school, through the subject matter complete by using the existing learning resources in the natural environment around the school.

Utilization of the natural environment around the school never stand alone, for example, the discussion of Natural Sciences certainly cannot be separated from the lessons of Social Sciences and the environment. All of it has the link between human, economy, norm, Life, and environment. The balance of all aspects is very important in environmental learning.

Active, creative, effective and fun learning is a learning model that allows learners to undertake various activities for the development of attitudes, skills, and understanding of many resources and aids in learning. The utilization of the environment in a learning is very fun, effective and attract the attention of learners.

Learning does not only come from books but can be nature, society, and institutions. to improve the quality of learning and teaching, the atmosphere in learning should be more varied and in accordance with existing in the school environment

Therefore the utilization of the surrounding environment for a learning at school is not only limited to grow the personality and science development alone but provoke the initiative to be able to work in doing the action to make the environment better.
