Visiting Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium - Tuna Room & Huge Fishing Diorama

The day after Christmas, we drove two hours to Springfield, Missouri and visited the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium. We bought the membership so we can go back and bring friends and family if we want. Springfield is a regular visiting place for most of us so going again wouldn't be a big deal.

After the room with the bait ball, we came to a room full of different types of tuna mounted on the wall. In front of us was a huge diorama of a fishing vessel and a school of yellow-fin tuna.

We spent a bit of time in this room. It was really neat to see. The acrylic used to make the water was cool. It looked real! Next we took a flight of glowing stairs down to another dark room. It had a huge shark chasing some seals. Our son, Toby, really liked this room. I'll post about it soon. Stay tuned!
