New Chinese superheroes are in line with the significance of the larger-than-life Marvel universe mainstay Spiderman, Iron Man and the X-Men, Marvel Comics official's statement on entering a major thrust in Asia in 2018.

As part of the growing Asian fan-base of the giant comics group, the Disney-owned franchise will launch a mobile games in China and also open its 'Marvel Stores' in South Korea, so they're looking for artistic talents in the Philippines, added by Marvel editor-in-chief Chester B. Cebulski.

The comic giant plans to introduce two new Chinese superheroes: 'Sword Master' and 'Aero' both based in China, Cebulski added.

Cebulski, who has been living in Asia for two years as the vice president of Marvel for the region. Marvel has not given a prominent position the Asian characters compared to their mainstays such as Captain America or Hulk.

The latest flagship movie of Marvel's Black Panther is expected to be released next month around the world casting by Chadwick Boseman as the breakthrough black superhero T'Challa, who is a fictional king nation in Africa.
