Philosophy Meaning of Life

Every human being in this world would want to be happy and also have its own meaning in coloring his life. There is not a single human being who wants to suffer, because happiness is a very important nature for man. We can see in the community now. For example, there are those who want to be successful people like rich doctors, wealthy businessmen, state officials who have a lot of money and the like. But there are among those who just abandon all the pleasures of the world, such as; money, position, car lots, luxury homes, just for the sake of the afterlife. This view is very much in circulation in today's society, let alone a truly religious society.

The problem is, if weigh the impact that occurs if we choose between the two concepts of life earlier, then what happens instead we are even happy, but it is the destruction that comes. If we try to apply the first concept of life, what happens is the creation of a society that is Individualist, materialist, ignorant of others, greedy, take the natural wealth only to be enjoyed by himself, eat the people's money and so on. Instead of creating a harmonious social condition of society, but instead a greedy society and very far from the happy word if it is like in one country all its people like that, then what happens in this world is a sense of endless discontentment. But if we apply the second concept, it is created instead of a harmonious society as well, but it happens is the creation of a society that is old, do not know science and technology, easily lied to by other nations and finally we become an independent nation but a nation that only lives under the feet hands of other countries, until finally the nation will be destroyed.

So, what is the meaning of life from humans? Maybe this is a sensitive issue for some people, especially teenagers. Because if we are wrong in understanding life, then certainly our lives will fail due to the psychic condition of adolescents who are still unstable and are looking for identity. Therefore, we must know the meaning of life in this world. Various forms of people make sense of this life because people in this life have different views, but we must know that the meaning of a human life is where we can build people from all aspects, both spiritual and life aspects.

Spiritual aspect is a responsibility to God, we must also know that in doing all things in this world can not be separated from the power of god so we must have a good relationship also with our god through worship that we do separti in Islam we do pray, fasting, zakat, pilgrimage etc. they are all examples of our gratitude to God and we also know that we live in this world not forever, every living creature will surely experience a death, so in preparing it all we must have a good deed of worship for the sake of happiness in the afterlife. But if we are only concerned with life in the hereafter without any social feelings toward each other then this life will also be difficult and can also be messy as an example when we are hungry, we need farmers to get rice. When we are sick, we need a doctor because he is more master in the field of health sciences.

In terms of security, we need the help of military people, like soldiers, police and so on. Here can be drawn the conclusion that humans must also have a sense of social to each other because in everyday people can not meet their own needs so required to socialize so that all the nature of his needs are met. But if we in the world are only concerned with the aspects of life alone then we live will only pursue the material just to meet the sense of discontent that became the nature of a human being. So in this life will not be encountered gratitude and gratitude to God. and this can lead to a destruction within a country. just imagine if a state official does not have a spiritual aspect or a sense that causes him to be grateful then all the officials will do a massive corruption and what the consequences, the country will be destroyed by the actions of those who do not know God. But if we have a sense of responsibility and gratitude, it will not happen because they realize that everything they do will be held accountable and they will also realize that they will die and not bring whatever treasure they get in this world.

As human beings, we are required to build all aspects of life. Starting from the relationship to God and the relationship to man. Because with awakening all these aspects, it will bring happiness for us all because the creation of a responsible society, mutual understanding and harmony. It can be said that the true meaning of human life is where we can balance between the spiritual aspect and the aspects of life that will lead us to everlasting happiness.
