ONE World, ONE Mirror...
What is in the mirror today?
The one in my dressing room shows some jetlag and the distress of returning 'home' to find the sacred space I so carefully nourished and nurtured, glaumed over by kitsch and clutter.
The one in the clouds shows a million shades of grey, shading from charcoal to white, gliding past at speeds only the wind knows and shares when we stand still to feel it's insistent touches.
The one in the waters shows the turbulence and the stillness of this long journey into conscious flight.
The one in the eye of the doe standing silently across from my desk, whispers of sound and joy and resonance.
The green world surrounding me is dry and drought deciduous. Which leaves are retained and which drop away?
Why is the mirror shared with reflections that will never match how I choose to play? What will make the toxic ripples fade away?
When we see ourselves in mid-flight we observe the wonder. May we honor it every day.
