Breaking News: Bittrex to Support the ZenCash Hardfork from ZClassic.
Earlier this Week I Wrote About ZenCash and the Upcoming Hardfork from ZClassic.
Here is the announcement from the Bittrex team in support of the Zencash hardfork.
What Does This Mean?
If you have ZClassic in your Bittrex wallet that you purchase before the 110,000th block you will receive an equal amount of Zencash during the hardfork scheduled for 23 May. Follow the ZCL Block Explorer here.

Okay, you got me interested. As much as I'm long Bitshares, I decided to convert some over to ZClassic and see how this ends up. Thanks for the heads up and the informative posts on this. It'll be really interesting to see what happens to the price of both cryptos after the split.

I finally bought some Bitshares last week because @finpunk has been a longtime supporter also. I'll take a look at getting some more.
I think it's one of the most undervalued platforms out there. What other systems are talking about accomplishing some day, they've been doing successfully for years. I think they just need some good marketing and servant leadership for it to really take off.

I think the only risk is that people will sell their ZCL while we are waiting to receive our Zencash. I have picked up about 500 ZClassic and will support the hardfork. This is my first time ever doing something like this so I have to admit I am a little nervous since it is almost 3 BTC worth.
I have 1200 ZCL that I bought a few months ago but I do not think I am selling until it goes to a 100 million market cap or more. I think Zen is going to be 10X better than ZCash. Its a damn good coin with governance. I am not worried about the hard fork. If you been holding Ether long enough like I have its actually a very positive event. Coins that are not forking are stagnated. Bitcoin is OK to hold but the alts like Ether and Zen are making massive % gains on it. I am predicting Ether will over take Bitcoin within the next 2 years. But do not get me wrong I still hodler of BTC for diversity. If it ever scales......? Have you checked out at Swarm City? That's another with high market cap potential. Maybe the most undervalued token and under the radar project I have seen yet.
I have my doubt Bitcoin will ever scale. You are thinking huge upside with ZCL since it is less than 8 million market cap! I am a little late to the ZClassic party, but still seems early! Checking out swarmcity now!
Yes, I only mention Swarm City b/c its a really good project with mainstream use cases like no other token I have come across so far. P2P Airbnb, Uber that kinda thing is their target in the release of their first MVP called Boardwalk released June 15th.

That's great news! I will not have to sell my ZCL then. I wanted Zen! Do you know time/date wise what is the 110,000th block in ZCL? I think Zen is going to the moon. I bought a few months back and still hodler. Zen will be one of top coins I believe.
I believe the 110,000 block is Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Rolf talks about it in the video I posted here. I have joined the team in a limited capacity. Do you know if the hashing code will be resistance to ASICs miners?

I bought it months back so I am sure its OK. Its own Bittrex. Thanks for info buddy.
@hilarski for mining it uses the same equihash algorithm as zcash which is somewhat memory intensive.
That makes it much less cost effective to design an ASIC for it especially since the GPU guys will be designing 10 nm and 7nm GPUs in the next few years.
Designing and producing ASICs at those small feature sizes is very expensive. So I expect there will probably not be an ASIC miner for ZenCash for a long time, if ever.
Love the Zen enthusiasm! My estimate is we'll see block 110,000 ~05:20 UTC on the 18th, but keep an eye on the block explorer if you're really trying to time it!
We will have same amount of Zen as ZCL? Say you have 1000 ZCL now and after you'll have 1000 ZCL and 1000 Zen. Is that right?
