Share the best Architectural Building Photography in your City || STEEM CHALLENGE, Contest Week-04 || My Entry

in Urdu Community3 years ago

As a result of the advancement of technology, great changes are taking place in all sectors with the touch of modernity. The big installations in our city are showing their potential in new ways. Because now every region of the world is building different types of architecture and trying to present themselves in a different way in order to prove their capabilities. As true as this is, it is also true that the old installations have still been able to retain their appeal.

However, in order to participate in the Steam Challenge competition, today I am not a new installation, but I will share with you a very old but nice and interesting installation.

It is located almost in the middle of our city, and it is the national mosque of our country. Its name is Baitul Mukarram. Lots of people still come from all over the country to see it or to pray here. There are also beautiful arrangements for women to pray here. Let's look at three photographs-

I captured the first scene from the main gate it is located on the south side of the mosque and the next two scenes from the north side. In fact, the south view has changed a bit, as efforts are underway to modernize the mosque.

The Baitul Mukarram Mosque has a total of eight floors, but as there is a market below the mosque, it is mainly used for prayers from the 2nd floor to the 6th floor. Below this is the largest jewelry market in the country, with lots of people coming here every day to shop. Here is the office of the Islamic Foundation and the market for selling Islamic books.

The first attempt to make it was made in 1959. Of course Bangladesh was not there then, it was a part of Pakistan and its name was East Pakistan then. And Abdul Latif Ibrahim Bawani was planning to build this mosque. Before the construction of the mosque, there was a pond here. The pond was then filled for the construction of the mosque and in 1980, the President of Pakistan, the then President of Pakistan Ayub Khan inaugurated the construction work of the mosque.

It is the center of attraction from the very beginning due to its beautiful architecture. 40,000 devotees can perform prayers together here. However, it is being modernized with the financial support of the Saudi government. It is known to all as the national mosque of our country. Because of this excellent architectural technique it is still in a more popular position than being a modern installation.
