Hello, this is Charles from Louis Purple and I'm going to teach you how to do a half-Windsor knot. The half-Windsor knot is a modest version of the full-Windsor and it's actually even easier to tie and it's very useful because it's a symmetrical, triangular knot that works for any type of occasion.
This is how you proceed. You've got the wide end over the narrow end and you bring it up once and bring it down on the same side. You go with the wide end underneath the narrow end. Go over it once, bring it down between the neck and the knot and then you just pull it through the loop and tighten the knots. So it's a little less fluffy than the full-Windsor and it's a knot, really, that works for any occasion. It's important that you adjust it in the end. And there you go, you have a half-Windsor knot.
