Exams, Seasonal Learning Culture?
Hallo educational customers, hard to leave the culture of writing. Although it must be completed within a few days. Today I will share my experience of the atmosphere which exams at our school. Our school is a boarding school, a school filled with color. A lot of uniqueness happens in boarding school schools. Because the culture of learning there is not the same as ordinary school culture.
Learning culture?
Cultural learning is a series of activities in implementing the tasks of learning to do. We make learning a habit, where if the habit is not done then violate a value or standard that exists (Rusyan, 2007: 12).
School environment becomes an important atmosphere for student learning development. While in the home environment, must have a healthy psychological climate characterized by affection, mutual trust, openness, familiarity, and mutual ownership among members of his family. Our school brings together the school environment and home environment into a learning climate that is related to each other.
It takes an effort to cultivate a learning culture, such as motivation and mentoring. If the growth of learning culture has many challenges and obstacles. Especially in today's modern era, there are so many factors that can tempt the students so they do not have the culture to learn. Such as smartphones, tv shows, and another entertainment world. We were in boarding school forbids them to use smartphones and other objects which neglect. Efforts to foster a culture of learning is particularly effective when done in boarding school.
Formal learning activities have been completed, we are now preparing for oral exams as a first step towards writing exams next week. Oral test activities are not limited to only in the classroom, but we are free to organize them which makes learners comfortable.
I am very happy to see my learners who are preparing for their study for the exam, I see a variety of unique learning style, they panic because most of them do not make preparations for his study of long ago. Teachers who test them are equally unique, they design the test atmosphere as comfortable as possible. Here's their exam footage:
