Let's Talk About Steemit II Edition"
I'm excited to be part of the "Let's Talk About Steemit II Edition" contest organized by @fannyescobar in the Steemit for Ladies community. Steemit has been a wonderful journey for me, and I can't wait to share my experiences and read your stories too.So let's start.
1. How long have you been on the Steemit platform?
I joined the Steemit platform in August. In the beginning of August, I found out about the platform through a distant friend. One of her friends had been active on Steemit for quite some time.
At that time, I had just finished my exams and was free, not knowing how to spend my days. I asked my friend if she knew of any platform where I could learn something from home and maybe even earn a little.
That's when she told me about her friend who was working on Steemit and had been active on the platform for several years. After hearing about it, I asked her to help me get in touch with that friend.
A few days later, when her friend came over, she explained everything to me about how Steemit works. I immediately decided that I wanted to join.
Just a couple of days later, I made my introduction post and officially became a part of the Steemit community. I've been active on the platform since then.
2. Do you like to participate in contests or are you not one of those who participate in this type of dynamics?
Yes, when I first joined the Steemit platform, I didn't know much about contests. I was mostly guided to share daily diaries and routines, explaining what I did throughout the day. Later, when I started following the @ disconnect account, which shares daily updates about the contests that are running, I found out that there are many contests we can participate in, where we can share our knowledge on various topics.
After that, I began participating in more and more contests. Now, I participate in contests more than I do daily diaries. I enjoy taking part in different types of contests and also reading other users' posts. For example, when the Teaching Team contest was announced, I actively participated and learned a lot through it.
3. Have you participated in the dynamics of the SEC-S20 courses? Tell us about your experience.
Yes, I actively participated in SEC Season 20, and it was a very enriching experience. As soon as the season was announced, it caught my interest because it offered a wide range of topics.
We could select topics according to their field of interest, which made it appealing to a diverse group of people. I started learning and participating in various topics.
The first course I joined was the PHP course, as I am a computer science student, and this course is also part of our college curriculum. It helped me revise my skills, and I was able to enhance my understanding of PHP. I completed all the tasks given in the course and learned a lot.
I also participated in the Agriculture course, where we learned about agriculture and the different challenges in this field. I shared insights about agriculture in my country, how we plant crops, and the methods we use to care for them.
I took part in the programming course, where we learned the fundamentals of programming, including how to create programs and develop logical thinking.
I also joined the Gastronomy course, which was about food, from starters to deserts .I participated in this course and learned various culinary techniques.
Another course I took was Graphic Design, where we were taught to create designs using Canva. I completed all the practical tasks for each week and learned how to design effectively using this tool i enjoyed participating in multiple courses that aligned with my interests and skills.
4. Who has been that new Steemians that you are interacting with lately?
Yes, during Season 19, I came across two new users, @sergeyk and @mohammadfaisal, who are from my field of computer science and are highly skilled in it. I hadn't paid much attention to them before, but now I've learned a lot from both of them.
They participated in the PHP course alongside me, and whenever I had trouble understanding something, I would look at how they completed it, which really helped me.
They also did a programming course where they taught about loops and cycles, and I learned a lot from their approach. I am now following both and regularly read their posts related to programming and computer science. They have a lot of knowledge, and I feel like I should have followed them earlier.
5. What topics do you propose for a contest?
Yes, I see many different contests every day on Steemit, whether they are related to Steemit challenges or regular daily contests. Personally, I love crafting, especially recycling items at home to create something new.
So, I propose a contest where we can make something using recycled materials from home or materials we order, focusing on home decoration. I enjoy decorating, so I would love to see a contest where we are taught how to decorate and then recreate it ourselves.
Another idea is a contest related to clothing styling, where we learn how to design and style clothes, especially how to create contrast in outfits. I love mixing and matching different colors and styles, and I think a contest that teaches us how to apply contrasting styles in clothing would be very interesting. These are the types of contests I would love to see.
6. Which moderator do you admire most and why?
There are many humble moderators on this platform who work really well and guide others, helping them if they make mistakes. Among them, my current favorite moderator is @karianaporras who I admire the most.
She speaks very calmly, is humble, and guides us very well. I really like her style of communicating and the way she handles things. Her personality is also something I admire.
If we make any mistakes, she gently corrects us and guides us with care. Since I joined, she has been helping newcomers like me.
When I was new to the platform and didn’t know much, she guided me with kindness, showing me how to create good posts and how to improve. This is why she is my favorite moderator; her helpful nature and way of guiding others have made a big impact on me.
7. Would you like to be a moderator on the Steemit platform?
Yes, when I joined the Steemit platform, my motivation was to follow the example of the moderators who guide and help others. I aspire to be a moderator myself, helping other users and building a good reputation on this platform. I hope to become a moderator in a community, especially in my favorite community, Steemit for Ladies.
In this community, everyone is very humble, respects each other, and offers guidance. I would love to be a moderator in this communityy because it is a supportive environment where I can contribute positively and assist others just as I have received help.
That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @tammanna, @yenny47 and @nalainzahra to participate in this amazing contest.
