I hope you all are doing well.

As per the steem family community guidelines, i wanted to share my trip to a meadow along my family.
I am a mother of 3 kids at the age of 25. At this age where most of the youngsters enjoy their lives and exploring the world and theirselves, i gave birth to 3 kids. My elder kid is 6 years old which means i got married at the age of 18. My youngest is only 4 months old.

So taking care of 3 kids while also doing home chores is quite challenging. I don’t get much time to sit back and relax especially after the birth of my newborn.

Anyways, my husband saw how badly i needed a break , he planned a trip to this beautiful meadow called astore.

ABOUT ASTORE :

Astore is located in Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan 3 hours drive from our town.
The meadow is situated on an altitude of 2,546 metres s (8,353 ft) And very close to india.
We started our journey early in the morning as we wanted to stay there till evening and come home before midnight.
We got some snacks and i made some sandwiches for the kids to munch on.
After 3 hours of drive we reached astore city. We had to go a little more to reach the meadow . After 30 minutes of drive inside the city we finally reached our destination.

The landscapes were mesmerising. We were extremely tired as the road was horrendously scary and damaged yet when we saw the giant ice coated mountains around us and lush green meadows i got new energy and felt as if my soul was rejuvenated.

I left my husband with kids and kept moving towards the meadows to the point where i saw no one but green earth and a bright sky above me. I fell into the arms of the nature and laid there just looking at the sky. The positive energy that nature gave me in those few minutes are beyond explanation. I kept looking at the giant mountains of Karakoram. I think the mountains are scary yet it reminds us of how were are nothing but a mote. It depends on us humans wether we choose to be a peck of dust , a peckle of gold. I realised that these gigantic mountains are not there to make me feel small instead to make me humble.

Anyways after an hour i got up and went to my husband and kids where my husband was taking care of the kids. We clicked lots of pics . When i was done with photography it was already past noon so we got back in the car to find a restaurant. We all were extremely hungry by then. We found a restaurant and had our lunch there.

THE LAKE:

After that we went more further towards a lake thats is quite popular among the tourists. We spend a lot of time beside the lake. My husband made sure that he take care of the kids while i rest. I only held our newborn when it was feeding time.

We sat there and saw the sunset beside the lake. After the sunset it was finally time to go back home. We shifted our baskets and belongings in the car and started our journey back home.

GOONG BACK HOME :

I felt peace and gratitude while going back home. I was refreshed, recharged with such energy that i felt on top of the world. My young heart was singing with joy and I couldn’t thank my GOD enough for blessing me with such beautiful moments that i got spend with my family.

MY MESSAGE TO MOMS :

I urge all moms to go out and spend time in the nature. Taking a break from your daily routines helps a-lot. So take a day off, pamper yourself, go on a hike or whatever makes you happy.
