Hi, Me Again
I posted this once and used the wrong tag because I'm a newbie to this site and didn't know how things worked on here. I have decided to repost my intro with the proper tags thanks to the sugestions of some of the awesome people who read my first intro so here we go again.
I am a small business owner and I am not making wads of money yet but I am enjoying every minute of it and I am going to keep plugging away at it. I will succeed or go bankrupt trying.
One thing that I hate the most about internet and social media is abbreviations. I only use the word hate because I can't think of a stronger word right now. When someone uses abbreviations in an email or message to me, not only do I get pissed off because I don't understand what it is they are tying to say most of the time but I wonder if the person is either illiterate and doesn't know how to spell or is just too fat and lazy to press the keys. Like TY for thank you. Do you not know how to spell the word?

Welcome! You're doing better than me. I haven't even made my first post yet; only replies. I agree with you about the abbreviations; clueless about most of them. I guess I'm just not that cool! :)
No worries about the repost. This site takes some getting used to. Anyway, welcome, and lol about the abbreviations. You would hate to see some of my conversations with my sisters :)
The biggest thing with the abbreviations is that I'm old school and I have no idea what they mean. I was talking to someone one day on email and I told her that I would see her tomorrow. She sent me YW as a response. I wasn't sure what that meant but I didn't want to ask because I felt foolish about not understanding. It took a while but I figured out that it meant "You Will". At least that's what I think it meant.LOL(took days for me to get that one)

@hurtinalbertin Hi and welcome to Steemit, I am also kind of new here, too. Lots of little mistakes I've made in the past few days like having my posts flagged by users who disagree with my stance on the safety of vaccines so now lot of my post photos have disappeared because of these flaggings. I'm confused as I thought Steemit was about writing quality posts not about when people disagree with your choice to vaccinate or not that they 'flag' your post. I hope you will find you way around okay and happy to have you here. By the way, you user name is 'Hurtin' a city in Alberta? 😌
I understand what you are talking about with vaccines because I have seen videos and read the list of ingredients on the CDC website. As far as the flaggings, hang in there because the site is still being worked on and they will likely get a lot of complaints about it and have to come up with some sort of a solution.
