Hello everyone, I decided to share with you the things I’ve done in my path of learning about the world of blockchain, including how to be blockchain developer.

Nobody is born knowing things already and so slowly, little by little we have to learn them.

The first thing I made was to start informing me about what the blockchain was and how this new technology behind Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies (not only cryptocrurrencies) works. As I started reading, some concepts that I didn’t know came out and so I had to study, such as the merkle tree with hashes, how mining work and other things.

If when you start reading you find things that you do not know, do not be discouraged, but slowly begin to learn the various concepts.

And here's a tip: do a lot of research and read a lot. Look for video lessons, tutorials, explanations on youtube or other video channels. Look for courses, there are some around.

Currently there are enough material about the main blockchain concepts while for specializations (the different blockchains with their relative consensus algorithms) still there is not much if not official things.

So my first step was just to understand well what the blockchain is. Surely I still have a lot to learn.

[ITALIAN PART]

Ciao a tutti, ho deciso di condividere con voi le cose fatte e imparate nel mio percorso di apprendimento sul mondo della blockchain, compreso come fare lo sviluppatore.

Nessuno nasce sapendo già le cose e quindi piano piano, a piccoli passi bisogna impararle.

La prima cosa che ho fatto fu cominciare ad informarmi su che cos’era la blockchain e come funzionava questa nuova tecnologia dietro Bitcoin e alle cryptovalute (e non soltanto cryptovalute). Man man che ho cominciato a leggere sono usciti fuori dei concetti che ho dovuto approfondire come ad esempio il merle tree con gli hash, come funzionava il mining e altre cose. Se quando cominciate a leggere trovate delle cose che non conoscete, non vi scoraggiate ma cominciate piano piano a imparare i vari concetti.

E qui un consiglio: fate tante ricerche e leggete tanto. Cercate videolezioni, tutorials, spiegazioni su youtube o su altri canali video. Cercate dei corsi, ce ne sono alcuni in giro.

Attualmente diciamo che sul concetto della blockchain ormai c’è abbastanza materiale per cominciare a famigliarizzare con il concetto mentre per le specializzazioni (le diverse blockchain con il loro relativo algoritmi consenso) ancora non c’è molto se non le cose ufficiali.

Quindi il mio primo passo è stato proprio quello di capire bene cos’è la blockchain. Sicuramente ho ancora molto da imparare.
