Loaded Revolver - Monoprint Drawing

Hi steemians, sharing with you a surreal mono print I did which took me a few hours to do. It's quite strange looking piece. The process involved spreading a water-based ink with a roller across a surface and placing a sheet of paper over it. You then place a image of the same size as the paper over the blank paper. Using a pen or pencil you then put pressure on the paper with the image and the marks should transfer on to the blank paper because of the ink on the surface. You do not want to press on the sheet with your hand accidentally as that would also mark your paper. You need to be careful with your lines and also apply enough pressure for the ink to come through. I painted the background with black acrylic.
