Welcome To Deidei
Deidei is Located within the Kubwa express axis of the FCT. The town is a relatively big place with a population range of 50,000-100,000.

Deidei district is made up of Fillin Dabo, Saburi, pazzari, Shagari quarters, Bagusa, and a host of other small towns.
The town houses the largest building material market in the Northern central of Nigeria and a centre for commerce in the Federal Capital territory. You can never build a house in Nigeria's capital with out a visit to this town.

Deidei borders along Kubwa( known as Kubwa express) a 12 lane express way.
The pictures above and below is called Deidei junction a popular place you must pass through to get into the town.

As I noted its all about buying and selling, in this area, the markets includes; a regional market for periable goods and other food items.

People are yet to resume normal day's activities, on a normal day you could hardly see a scanty junction.

Building Material Market
This is an entrance to the market. The occupants of this market are mostly Ibos. The market union had put efforts together to control the market to the best of their ability.
The market is located along the Deidei - Life camp route. The moment you go off from the express high way, you begin to see the market. Its a very large market and could take about 1.5km drive although the market. As I noted, anything you need to put up a building structure is found here.
Join me as I show you around the market.

Recreation
These traders love to enjoy themselves in bars and longue in the town. There are slots of good places, when you visit, like Leobest hotels, white house, to mention but a few.
So I took time out to show you one of the joints.

Transport System
The transport system in this area still is, road and rail. Vehicles and motor cars, below is the newly completed railway line that comes from wuse, down to Idu industrial area to Deidei, towards kubwa and moves to Kaduna.

The major road to access the town is the kubwa-Zuba express way. This is a cross section of how the road looks below.

The Carton Business
I dont know if this is happening in your city if you live in Nigeria. But one noticeable thing about the town is the carton business. Its booming here and with a very big ware house for storing and parking compressed cartons. Larger vechiles are always here to park them up, they never seem to run out of supplies. I dont know what they use it for, perhaps to a recycling company in Lagos am not sure.
So if you got atruck load of empty cartons dont throw them away, hurry to Deidei and join the carton millionaires.

Settlement Patterns
This place is well planned, although its still chareterised by a few illegal settlers emarked for demolition.

The buildings are approved by the Federal Capital Development Authority
(FCDA). The authority is to ensure that all building plans coincide with Abuja master plan.

This is a view of saburi from my phone.

The traders are also joined by a few of their civcivil servant counterparts. Its majorly occupied by the middle class, the building pattens are often linear settlement. A plot of land goes for about #5m (about $15000 Dollars).
The housesz are mostly built by the traders to their taste.

Below is one of the kind of houses found here.
