Hai sahabat steemian semuanya, foto-foto di atas saya ambil pada saat hari raya idul fitri.
Foto di mana keluarga besar saya sedang kumpul bersama di rumah almarhum nenek.
Saya selalu menyimpan foto ini di handphone, karena foto-foto ini merupakan momen-momen yang sangat berharga dan menyenangkan bagi saya.
Karena jarang sekali keluarga besar saya berkumpul, kesempatan ini hanya datang di hari raya idul fitri.
Foto yang paling bawah adalah urutan saudara ayah saya dari yang tertua sampai yang paling bungsu.
Ayah saya yang pakai baju batik di urutan yang kedua, dan yang paling bungsu adalah bibi saya yang pakai gamis.

Hello my dear Steemians, the photos above were taken by me when we were celebrating Idul Fitri (sugar feast).
My big family were hanging out together at my deceased grandma's home.


I always keep this photos on my mobile phone, because those are very precious moments in my life and meant a lot for me. It is very rare occasion that my big family could gather together, it could only happen during sugar feast holidays where the Indonesians (despite their religion) have the longest public holiday ever and could apply for a rather long leave from work ever in a year and therefore the vacation in total could be much longer than the official public holidays for sugar feast celebration.


In this case even the Indonesians who live quite far from their hometown (for example in a different province or island. Indonesia is really big :-D) could also take time to visit their elders.


Most westerners use their long holidays to travel merely for their own fun, but the Asians in general have another priority. They normally would use this chance to visit their elders (even if ione day it would only mean visiting the family graveyard, they would still do it). Family is the first priority, filial piety holds a great importance/standing in Asians' life.


The bottom of the photo ( squatting) is the son of my father's brother, the photo order of the standing models in the front row is set from the oldest to the youngest (with me as an exception, because I stand beside the oldest son in my family tree).
My dad was wearing brown batik shirt and has the grey hair without hat. My youngest aunt was wearing curry yellow robe with headscarf. My mother is the one wearing maroon headscarf and my eldest aunt is the one with purple dress.

From left to right = from the youngest one to the eldest one.
