Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest -12/3/2025

As you smile while reading this, that's the same way I am thrilled to bring to you this post and also participate in this contest.

This is a picture of me on my last examination in school what we call "sign out day'. It was one of the happiest day of my life. The thought of graduating after spending 5 years in school with strike delaying my education process made me so excited that I had to celebrate. The writeups on my shirt are congratulatory wishes from friends, junior colleges who wish to graduate someday and well-wishers. This is done in most tertiary institution here in Nigeria to show that they share in our joy and it is always evident in their smile.

That morning in the exams hall, to be honest, my full attention was not on my paper, it was divided. I couldn't wait to submit my script and join my coursemates outside who were shouting and jubilating but still, I had to write well so I don't come back for carryover.

School stress is just different from other life activity stress as such I was happy I will be relieved of the stress and also make my family proud that their labor was not in vain. Today, I am already thinking of how I will miss my friends in school. I still have access to some of them and we keep communicating while the rest have moved on with their lives. Today, I still look at myself with a big smile at how far I have come.
