Towards the end of October 2017, I found Steemit through the effort of @samstickkz who happened to have been talking so much about the community on Facebook, I got signed on immediately, all in a bid to get a grip on its promised monetary reward, but I was left disappointed when this didn't happen even after making four posts of my own, really sad indeed, I wasnt going to give up, I needed help and real fast, so I went back to my Mr Steemit @samstickkz who I had abandoned thinking I could do it all alone, @samstickkz was genuinely generous enough to accept to helping me, teaching the basics of success on steemit was basically adding value, and from then on it been a glorious life changing experience I have had on this platform and today I write about the Amazing Adjustments That Have Happened To My Life Since I Found Steemit.

More Involment With Community

Come For The Reward, Stay For The Community

The above quote is particularly true to my case since joining up steemit, I was initially motivated by the rewards, the monetary gains involved in getting into the steemit platform, I never ever considered for once that I would have to be involved with communities in steemit, I felt that steemit was just all about the quality content I put up and nothing else, but I was wrong, like very wrong.

@samstickkz had already had the idea of building a community of steemit users within the Uyo community, and when I heard about it from him, I joined up in this plan also, from the month of October I have been talking about steemit to my community, it quite unbelievably that I have been able to do this, the sense of responsibility that comes with been on steemit is just what had been the motivation, I have been able to bring to steemit over 20 persons including @imohdave, @blackpaul, @mercyice, @ekom @vheobong, @kween001,@somez, @fotizo, @raychelle, @emilynwrites, @ivanlager, @ubongj, @messinaldo, @emmanueladam91, @spiritwalker, @vky, @gidionline, I have invested money into collaborative hosting of meet-ups within the Uyo steemit community, I have been involved in seeing the Uyo steemit community grow from just less than 7 active members in the month of October to over a hundred in the month of December, the believe in the future of steemit has enabled me do this and I look only forward to doing more.

Giving Has Become Alot Easier For Me

Giving is the master key to success, in all applications of human life.

Our inherent love for humanity is brought into the light for all to see when we subject ourselves to giving, we transcend into another level of reason and our daily activities begins to gear towards putting smile on the faces of others but we can only achieve this wavelength of consciousness If only a catalyst prompts sure reaction within our being.
Steemit has been to me that catalyst which has enabled me to give with so much ease, not saying I wasn't giving before my encounter with steemit but it only got better and easier with the steemit factor.

Myself and @spiritwalker run an non-governmental organization called @penachild initiative which is geared at aiding the welfare of children within the Nigerian community, through our earnings from Steemit we have been able to give so much to the welfare of these children within our community, we have visited orphanages to support with relieve materials, we have partnered with groups to raise funds for the aim of charity towards these children welfare, we have organised through our earnings on steemit vocational training classes to empower these kids with requisite skills needed for them to be industrious.
Steemit has really been helpful to help me attain this giving mentality and I don't want it to stop, I look forward to doing more giving in the new year and beyond.

Better Ways To Creating Friendship

To have a friend and be a friend Is what makes life worthwhile.

I have always found it easy making friends via social media platforms but it mostly difficult getting to meet in person with most of such persons, so we just remain friends on the digital phase, never ever knowing how we are in the physical realm and most times friendship of these kind tend to go into extinction as a result of decline in engagement, but this has changed since joining steemit, there are now better ways to create friendships, not just on the digital space but also in the physical sense, I have made more friends in my two months on steemit than I had from the beginning of the year.
I have met wonderful people such as @ejemai, @evelyniroh, @samuelwealth, @teaser1, @xpressng, @tojukaka, @annieben, @alisonudeme, @onyemacourage and a host of others just as a result of my involvement with Steemit, I look forward to meeting more persons as my wonderful journey on steemit continues.
