Suggestion: Add trash button

in #utopian-io8 years ago (edited)

I am writing this to suggest the addition of a trash button where deleted posts would be stored such that it can be retrieved on a later date. This is because once a post is mistakenly deleted it can’t be retrieved.
Problem
There is no any location or button where deleted posts are stored such that the posts can’t be retrieved later when they are deleted. Once a post is deleted, the post can never be retrieved.
Suggestion
A button where deleted posts will be stored should be added to the “my blog” section of one’s profile.
This can be as seen below.

All deleted posts will now be moved to trash. This will make it easy to access deleted posts at a later date and for security purpose. This feature can be seen on gmail and various mailing platforms.

Advantages of implementing this suggestion
1. It will allow authors in the community to be able to have access to mistakenly deleted contents such that they can recover important posts. This is especially applicable at times when the author has taken his time to type a post and mistakenly deleted.
2. Even though one mistakenly deletes a post, such post can be retrieved.
3. It will help the author have a wonderful and better experience in the community.
I hope this suggestion is implemented
