PEACE IN ADVERSITY!

John 16:33,"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

Jesus in Luke 21:25-26 said in the last days, they'll be perplexing of nations, that men's hearts will fail them because of fear. It's important that as a Christian you refuse to fear, yes, instead of getting hold on to God's word, which is the antidote to fear and insecurity.

The Lord Jesus knew we would encounter difficult and trying times in the world, but he confirmed that as we remain in Him, we would live a life of peace even in time of crisis. That is why he said in John 16:33, let these words of the master re-echo in your heart and create the mindset of the overcomer in you.

God's word gives us the assurance that we're not alone, that irrespective of the manipulation of the enemy, our victory is settled fact. Remember as a Christian, you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91) A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hands, yet no harm or evil shall befall you. Believe this truth and make it your consciousness.

Refuse fear because God has already made you an overcomer. "Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world (1John 4:4). He has made his power available to you and lifted you over principalities and powers. Your faith in Christ is the victory that overcomes the world: "For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith(1John 5:4)
