Just reached home after attending the amazing All India Mushaira in memory of two of the most celebrated Tigers of Karnataka, Tipu Sultan Shaheed, and Janab Qamar-ul-Islam.

Many legendary Shayars graced us with their presence, I was so humbled to listen to Shakeel Azmi Sahab, Farzana Farha Saheba, Shakeel Zaheerabadi Sahab, and the internet sensation Imran Pratapgarhi.

Rajesh Reddy was a class apart and he left the audience asking for more.

The program lasted almost 7-8 hours, and the public enjoyed so much that not even a single person left until it was nearly 2:40 AM.

It was indeed an inspiration to listen to such legends, and I ended up writing a few lines in respect and in memory of our leaders Sher-e-Mysore Shaheed Tipu Sultan and Janab Qamar-ul-Islam Sahab, Sher-e-Karnataka.

Just a few lines that I wrote after getting inspired by the legends. In Sha Allah, someday I will have the guts to recite these words in front of an audience.

Wo eak Diya Bhuj Gaya to kya?

Caravan raaste me khogaya to kya?

Ye Mashal mere seene me khaid hai,

Bujha Sako ko bujha lo,

Chura Sako to Chura lo,

Inqilab ke aag mehfooz mere sene me,

Shaheen ki tarha asmanoome udenge,

Sher ki tarha jungalon me daharegi

Gaflaton me, anderoon me rehne walon,

Ye aag jagaye gi, jhinjodegi,

Aur ilm se roshan tere khalb ko karke,

Ye caravan fir se jama kare gi...

Ye inqilab ki Mashal mehfooz mere sene me.

The organizers did an excellent job. I am thankful to everyone for bringing these Shayars.
