"FLAT EARTH? REALLY?" INTERVIEW WITH ARTIST JACK LARSON, PART 1

in #flatearth7 years ago

Do you think the world is FLAT?

No. Kind of.

Please Elaborate:

Well, I don't have faith in the people who tell us things about "outer space" anymore. What I accepted as true turned out, upon inspection, to be computer imaging and animation.

When did you come to this conclusion?

It isn't a conclusion. The matter is still under investigation. Consider it a new and radical strain of skepticism. People resarching Flat Earth are really just asking probing questions. Something the News Media stopped doing a long time ago.

What kind of people become Flat Earthers?

Well if we're right, then it's the default. Which makes the real question: what kind of people believe in the worldview presented by their leaders?

What do you mean?

I mean that we're Non-Believers who are demanding stronger evidence for extraordinary claims. All we get is taxpayer funded art presented as "scientific" findings. And it's not a problem that is limited to the shape and or size of the Earth.

So contratrians? Is this a thought-experiment or a serious belief?

It's not that we are contrarians. We are QUESTIONERS. And asking if we're really in the universe described to us is a VALID question.

How is it a valid question? For thousands of years, everybody knew the Earth to be round.

"Everybody knows" is not an argument. We are shifting the burden of proof. Prove us wrong if you can. Or better yet, validate the ball Earth if you can...

Simply brilliant!!!

Good stuff, IPS! Who was the interviewer?

Its all pretend. Don't expect this guy to ever talk to you. Im pretty sure jack is a real person, but ips is an enigmatic. His name could be tim osman, but that doesnt do him justice. He likes hermeticism. Ya know those squirrels that run up a tree and flip their tails, he's like that.

Oh, thanks for the insight! IPS is a shill, right?
