Sony develops a "smart card" wallet
Sony is never far from the new technology and its introduction on a new subject is still very much watched. Sony's future portfolio announced by Sony
When Sony plans to enter a new market, it is probably not to compete, but rather to propose innovative ideas. If most purses walk today using a physical medium that would be linked to a computer through a cable ( Ledger Nano S , Safe-T Touch , etc.), that of Sony is reveals more practical.
The new Sony CSL wallet has contactless connectivity technology, without the need to connect the device with a smart card, which not only facilitates the process but also secures the data.
A wallet that has a smart card
According to the information disclosed by the company, this purse will operate from an RFID identification system on a small integrated circuit board. It will allow trading in crypto-purses and also track movements in the Blockchain. According to the company, the security is increased and would work in a safer and more ergonomic way compared to other wallets of the moment.
Sony explains:
"This smart card type wallet is small, portable and useful, unlike existing hardware wallets that connect to PCs via USB. In addition, it is possible to securely generate and store a private key with a highly reliable inviolable module in the smart card. I think it's an innovative idea. Sony has always tried to do more than compete so I'm not surprised.
This is good news too for the Blockchain community.
