Composing R&B Beats With Instrumentals # 1 - Dueling Hearts (INSTRUMENTAL FREE DOWNLOAD)

This dueling pad sound is basically the main sound to the R&B instrumental music. I like how spacey the pad is and I thought that I can create a smooth, up-tempo type of R&B instrumental. I can hear a good singer on this turning this into a great record, I have all the melodies down pack in my but I have no singers to work with. Where is all the singers at on Steemit??

I used some pianos that I found in the VSTi plugin purity called 1st Impression to add on the the main melody of the instrumental. I trust that everyone can hear the pianos clearly and if not, excuse my mixing. I'll try not to rush the mix on future projects but I did take some time fixing some levels to this instrumental beat.

My signature sub bass, ahhhhh yesss! I love this sub bass and you can just tell on majority of my instrumentals that I use the sub bass from Hypersonic

Also from the Purity VSTi plugin, I manage to add some SQ strings to the beat and make the beat more cinematic. One thing that I like about instrumentals is how cinematic they can sound. I actually think this instrumental beat here can be in a movie. What do you think? Can you hear this beat in the background of a movie scene?

Again, from the VSTi plugin purity, I added these Bright Mallet sounds behind the kick to give the kick in this instrumental a supporting sound that matches the melody to the instrumental. Can you hear the Mallets behind the kick or did I do a good job mixing

This sound here I picked up out of the VSTi plugin Sample Tank and it's just some acoustic Grand Pianos that I added in the instrumental to make the melody more melodic.

This a synth sound that I found in the VSTi purity and I added this for a little bit of drama that give the instrumental the feel of Dueling, hence the name Dueling Hearts.

I also added some Spiccato Strings that are in the Hypersonic VSTi plugin to support the Fat Draken 2 synth. I definitely thought this was a good choice to add on to the instrumental because it just sounds so perfect with this beat.

After getting the dueling pads tweaked to the right sound that I needed to hear, I basically started to work on the drums and the percussion to the beat and when the drums matched the dueling pad sound, I began to add the other sounds that I mention above and BAMMM! Another melodic creation :-)
