Patarana is the traditional food of the village which is in though of coconut fruit after several stages of the process of workmanship.

Coconuts are processed naturally or traditionally during the seven days of decay stage.
U in Indonesian is coconut, but hard to translate pliek into Indonesian language.

But if anyone asks the people of Aceh, they will answer 'pliek u' that Patarana. Clearly in Big Indonesian Dictionary the term patarana is unlisted. It's just a jargon to change the name of the pliek. This jargon arises when an Acehist wants to buy 'pliek u' to an Indonesian.
