The new normal working style

I went back to work in the office two days this week. That’s the most working days in a week of the last four years. We called the new normal working style. It’s much better than working five days in the office like before pandemic.

Most of us went to work in the office every day before pandemic. We always thought that was the way of working style. Until we received an order to go back home to work on 3/18/2020. Everyone adopted so quickly finishing all the works and met deadlines.

I felt this week passed so fast, maybe because I worked two days in the office? When I worked in the office, I hardly took breaks. When I realize time passed and it’s end of day.

The plants that I kept in office many years still alive. My staff took care of them for me the last four years. One orchid has some beautiful flowers open now. My anthurium white flamingo flower still looks pretty, and it has grown over seven years. One plant is left by other employee many years ago, and I adopted it. I am so happy having them around after going back to work in the office.
