Greetings to the @worldofxpilar family and friends. It's another beautiful day and an opportunity to relate and rub minds with you all on the topic I consider very crucial in the human race. Applause to @kinzaghauri for the opportunity given to us to share our ideas on what we consider to be a success.

What success means to me

Have you wondered why people don't remain in the comfort of their bed after waking up? Oh, you haven't asked yourself why people are always busy trying to do one thing or the other. What about the reason why right from childhood, children are sent to school to acquire knowledge? Why don't we stay without doing anything until we go back to our creator?

The school we go to, the skills we learn, and the work we do are clear signs that there is something we want to become in days, weeks, months, and years to come. No wonder, today some people as doctors, teachers, athletes, engineers, artists, politicians, and many more.

To become what you are today, and to also achieve that dream of yours, you don't need just a day but, rather weeks, months, and years of consistent work with all commitment. To achieve something, we must have a plan, work towards the plan, and finally hit the target.

In essence, when we talk about success, it simply refers to the feeling of fulfillment after many months or years of hard work and struggles. In other words, success is the process of bringing what we dreamed to reality. It can also be a state of being contented with what life has offered us.

Personally, my dream is to build a house, buy a car, and take my mum and Dad to at least 2 countries around the world. I also have a dream of giving back to my community through building a school, constructing roads, and providing water for them. These are just my dream. But the day they become a reality, then I consider it a success.

In life, we do all we do because,

  1. We want to make our lives better
  2. Make an impact in the life of people around us
  3. We want to enjoy life
  4. Want to be valued and recognized in the society
  5. Make ourselves proud
  6. Have something to fall back on in times of need and many more reasons.

The moments we begin to have the feeling that we have achieved our dreams, then the feeling of success takes over. Funny enough, we never stop dreaming and as such, the feeling of success or failure stops the day we become too lazy to continue breathing.

I now invite @simonnwigwe, @patjewell, and @josepha to participate.

Wow. You make a valid point there. To become what you want in life, you must achieve your dream. Though there's time of difficulties which might make the road more tougher but with consistency, we will always get there.I have also learn from you write up. Thanks for sharing.
