PT Asean Aceh Fertilizer

ASEAN Aceh Fertilizer  is a factory producing urea and liquid ammonia as a by-product, this product is offered to various Asian countries such as Vietnam, China, India, Ceylon, Cambodia, Japan and Taiwan.

This building was used as the office of PT ASEAN Aceh Fertilizer, formerly PT ASEAN Aceh Fertilizer is very glorious, in its heyday this factory is able to produce Fertilizer as much as 600 thousand Ton / year. But the plant is only able to operate for two decades. Along with the end of oil and gas era in Aceh, PT. ASEAN Aceh Fertilizer finally suspended its production operations. Because this factory is no longer getting gas supply eventually the factory was officially closed in 2005.

oh yaaa.,!!! because coincidence Location PT PIM is adjacent to PT Asean. Currently Asean factory warehouse is used as fertilizer storage place of PT PIM (Pupuk Iskandar Muda), and PT PIM also produce fertilizer.

Here we can see the process of loading and unloading fertilizer done by workers from the factory.

Other than that the port used for the loading and unloading of the fertilizer of the two factories. The port is also used by the fishermen who live in the area of the factory to harbor their "Boat Langga".
