Bangabandhu satellite reached his location

Bangladesh was launched their first communication satellite Bangabandhu Satellite-1 11.5.2018. After launching its take 10 days to reached own location from florida in united states.


Managing Director of Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL) Saiful Islam told BSS on Monday, "Our satellite has taken its position and started working naturally."

The BS-1 was successfully launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA on May 11 (Bangladesh May 12th). The satellite is launched to reach 119.1 in longitude through the latest SPACEX rocket Falcon 9.

The BCSCL Managing Director said that they will now run more tests before starting commercial operations. He said, 'Within three months we will go into commercial operations.'
Official sources said that once in 24 hours, BS-1 will once again fly the world at a height of 36 thousand kilometers. Shortly after the launch of Falcon-9's Block-5, BS-35 came to 35 thousand 700 kilometers after the launch. After that in 10 days, more than 300 kilometers crossing into the present position.

Gazipur Ground Station Operation Engineer Tajul Islam said before BSS, "BS-1 has started sending signals at Ground Station." He said, "It will take about two months to get the full control of BS1 from Ground Station of Joydevpur and Rangamati Betubunia Ground Station."
