Hello Friends ✨

How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also doing well. Today I am going to participate in the challenge of playing OpenTTD game by @sergeyk I participated in the previous season as well. I learned some things about the game then.I hope I can learn a lot more this time. I really like this game now.

OpenTTD – Task 0 🚛

1.PNG

I initially earned 8k by transferring passengers and other resources.

OpenTTD – Task 1 🚛

2.PNG3.PNG

First I chose two cities. Then I created train stations in both cities.

4.PNG5.PNG

Then I connected the two stations by building a railway line. Here I have created two parallel railway lines and created junctions on the platforms so that trains do not get stuck at the signals.

6.PNG7.PNG

Then I used signals all over the road, leaving one track for the departing and arriving trains. Then I bought trains and started them. I bought about four trains and tried to show them through the screenshots below.

OpenTTD – Task 2 🚛

25.PNG

This time I will build a Ro Ro station where trains never make U-turns, they move forward and then turn around and go back. I really struggled a lot with this task. At first, I couldn't figure out how to connect these rail tracks to so many platforms. At the same time, I couldn't figure out how to set up the signals. I have tried to build these stations about four to five times, but I have failed every time. Later, I was able to do it for the last time.

30.PNG

Here I created a station next to a resource and moved them forward to create a Ro Ro station. The trains will exit through the front roads and then return, never making a U-turn.This is how I built the railway tracks. At the same time, I installed the signals.

32.PNG

In this way, I also built a Ro Ro station next to the food factory and connected the rail tracks in the same way. I still don't know how much I was able to fulfill, but I finally saw that the trains were running smoothly.

Then I bought about five trains. I placed my order for them. Then, while the trains were being loaded, I installed the signals all over the road. The trains were arriving at each platform and unloading again from there. The trains were running smoothly.

OpenTTD – Task 3 🚛

13.PNG

For Task 3, I chose the forest as the resource. Whose production was 126 tones.

14.PNG15.PNG

This time I created a train station in the forest and sawmill.

16.PNG

Then I built a depot and installed signals on the tracks.

17.PNG18.PNG

Since I had to increase production in this task, I bought a number of trains and increased transportation.I bought about five trains. Then I waited for a while. Here you have to wait for the production to increase. For this, I first need to increase the station's rating.

19.PNG

20.PNG21.PNG

The station rating increased slightly through transport, but I then created a statue that increased the rating even faster. Then I opened the town window, went to the local authority, and created the statue. Then the ratings increased a lot.

After nearly two years in the game, production is now 170 tones.

I would like to invite @kouba01 @sinthiyaa @kiwiscanfly and @dexsyluz to participate in this challenge.

THANKS FOR WATCHING

It’s not 8K, it’s 8M. ))

Task 1Yes, this is your terminal station — here the entry and exit overlap. However, the entrance should be made more compact.

This is your terminal station: the train can only enter and exit on the third platform (the one without a roof) — I showed in the drawing how it should look. Toward the end of your answer you do adjust the layout, and it seems to work, but it doesn’t look good.
3.4/4
Task 2This station of yours turned out absolutely perfect — a classic RoRo station.4/4
Task 3image.png Your station is one tile long, while a locomotive + 3 wagons is 4 tiles (two full tiles). So the train does not fully fit on the platform, which means it will load and unload very slowly.
The wood production started at 136 and reached 170, but that’s a small and temporary increase. I went from 192 tons/month to 2295 tons/month — and that’s the upper limit, it won’t go any higher.

The signals were clearly difficult for everyone. It’s good that in my lessons I moved trains and signals to a later stage, instead of introducing them right from the first lessons. Experience will come with practice. ))

Thank you for taking part in this week’s game.
