WHEN THE STUDENT EXCEEDS THE TEACHER AND THE PURPOSE OF TEACHING
How many has happened to us, see who teaches us, limit our learning, and adapt it to their tastes and limitations?
In the middle of the dance this situation is very common, in my case I consider teaching, one of my biggest motivations to be a better dancer and person, and I think that as a teacher, I must motivate them to overcome their fears and recognize their virtues, and I hope to see them shine on stage and triumph much more than I have done, because for me their triumphs are partly a product of my teachings.
Like Bellydancer, we must also learn ethics and history, rhythmology, especially a lot about the oriental culture, so I continue learning. In the middle of the dance, most of the teachers teach from memorizing the student, shouting at them, highlighting their faults, and not from the respect and recognition of their successes, now that I teach, my purpose is to be the best teacher possible. Boost them every day to be better dancers, watching them get on stage is a great reward for my work.
Today I am very happy, because my girls have raised the challenge of traveling to a contest proposed by the best of Belly in Venezuela, to whom I owe a lot of my commitment to this art, it is the first time that they participated in an event So important, it is a challenge for them and for me as their coach, but I am very excited to be part of their achievements and see them shine on stage outside our community. I am very proud of you, let us assume this challenge, to grow and learn without limitations, enjoy every step and every account, I love them.
