Staying in Baguio was one of the best things had happened to me. Everything was truly amazing. This province is famouse for growing delicious strawberries and making it into variety of products such as strawberry jams, taho and ice creams. If you happen to visit this place, you should never miss going to the famous strawberry farm.

From the city proper you can ride a jeepney or a taxi going to La Trinidad. Just tell the driver you are heading to the strawberry farm. Take the “Buyagan” sign where terminal is located just outside Baguio City Hall. The route passes through Baguio, La Trinidad, and Bontoc Road. Get off at the Benguet State University. Then ask locals where the farm is. Anyways it's easy to find just walking distant from the University. What I like the most about Baguio is that the people are very friendly and compassionate. They are more than willing to help. You absolutely don't have to worry on getting lost there because for sure people will help you. The municipality of La Trinidad has a total land area of almost 8,300 hectares consisting mostly of mountains, rivers, and springs. Plus the cold weather most likely everyday therefore it's perfect for growing strawberries.

By the way, I was with my steemian friend and so happened my food and travel buddy @fernwehninja . When we went there, the strawberries were still starting to grow. So we just bought from the stalls nearby because if we do the picking it could have consumed our time looking for ripe ones. Anyways there were also vendors of fresh strawberries nearby.

The photos speak thousands of words how strawberry farmers break their backs in order for us to eat strawberry flavored stuffs. It's undeniable that Baguio farms are truly wonderful and visited by many for they are cared and treasured. All in all, strawberry picking "Baguio style" is an experience well worth it as it is the stuff that warm childhood memories are made of -- priceless even!

The best time to go strawberry picking in La Trinidad is from January to May. Baguio has a lot of visitors every summer for it has a good climate.
