Comment you opinion below as I always respond!

🏈Don't Mess With The Gronk!🏈

It seems like were in the time of stale off-season NFL news when we get to talk about small stories like Gronk's logo, but anyways it still is noteworthy Nike is going to challenge Gronk on his logo. While I agree the logo's are similar they also represent completely different sports AND players. For example Jordan's Shoes don't sell because of the NBA or Nike brand, they sell because the Jordan brand, without Jordan the shoes are nothing but another shoe on the rack. I see the same thing with Gronk's shoes, and think competition is best in all aspects of business as it bring true innovation!

Gronk's lawyer responded: "My client has created one of the most recognizable brands in sports today," Gronkowski's attorney, Troy Carnite, said via ESPN's Darren Rovell. "We are very proud of this brand and are optimistic that we will resolve this with Nike amicably."

Sort:

They are both completely different images from each other. Are they similar? Yes, but there is no confusion, or mistaking one for the other. Basically, what Nike is trying to do is own the copyright to the silhouette as an art form. That's major BS. I'll be surprised and disgusted if they win this. I've already sworn off of buying any more Nike gear because of some other things they've done. It's too bad because I really like some of their clothes, but they're a bunch of jackasses.

True that I'm with you!

If Gronk loses this case I'll be shocked - they are obvious differences in the silhouettes.... I mean, COME ON! Copyright and trademark are so ridiculous now a days.

All about the $$$$$$$$$$

Is Gronk's silhoutte background the same exact color as Nike's as indicated in your picture??
