I actually want to see Avengers: Endgame to beat Avatar. The movie has been out for only a month, but the buzz seemed to slow down compared to when it was released, either prior or afterwards.

Avengers: Endgame needs more boost to defeat Avatar because more than $100 dollars is still a long way to go. There are upcoming major releases that might slow it down. So Marvel should do something to bring Avengers: Endgame to the throne as the highest grossing film ever.
