LOOKING BEYOND

Happy Sunday to everyone here. Hope y'all appreciated the gospel today. I look forward to seeing amazing attires used to service today in the #sundayselfie section.
It's been quite sometime I did a write up (it's been generally a while since I wrote anything) and as such felt inspired to let down some words (not much) the Steemit community could use to start a new week.
LOOKING BEYOND
Today marks the start of a new week and we all know what it means.
A fresh set of challenges or obstacles to overcome
But let me ask this.
When you face these obstacles and challenges, what actually goes through your mind? Is it the current situation you've found yourself in or is it the numerous possibilities that exist in the end?
When we are discouraged in life, we tend to focus on the situation staring at us directly in the face when we could stop worrying about that and think about the numerous realistic fulfillment we would posses if the take the right track and set ourselves free from the situation.
Not looking beyond our fears renders us fixed in a particular state and blinds us from seeing/seeking out the possibilities that exist if we look beyond. It clouds our mind and shields our imaginations from what would become if the now wasn't in play or if the now was cast aside.
Looking beyond the face of danger always presents a reason to continue, a reason not to quit. That is but one reason the military have photos of their lived ones stuck in their equipment vest so when they feel so alone and unable to carry on, they remember who awaits for them, they remember who they have to fight for.
We all have the right to live. We also have the right to choose how we live. If we choose to live suppressed by our difficulties then we should be prepared for the conequences of that choice. If we also choose to look ahead/look to the positive future, we also should be prepared for the consequences of that.
Everything is based on choice. Live in the now or look beyond to the future. Think big, dream great.
