Early life
Born in Chicago in 1924, this talented cartoonist is Jean Dech. Moved to California with family before growing up. The time was 1929. From there, Deutsch began his schooling in Hollywood. From an early age he had a keen interest in painting or various types of illustrations. He graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1942 and began working as an aircraft designer in North American Aviation.Exactly the following year, Deutsch began training to become a pilot again. However, the duration of his trainee life was very short. He retired from the program in 1945 after suffering from pneumonia. After that he slowly stepped into the colorful world of animation.
