Today's STEEM Promotion to over 150 Youth Corpers in Abuja- Jacobite's Shows (WMTTI)

Today was one of the most happiest days of my life...
(save the day I discovered steemit though)

I @jacobite and @xpency charged into the city of Abuja once more for a steem promotion.

We had drafted out plans to introduce as many zealous youth as possible.

Not an easy task but a worthy task I must confess.

I had to sacrifice attending my school lectures (as I'm still a student) to be at the venue where this set of youth corpers were waiting for our steemit presentation.

I was glad to see the smiles on their beautiful faces upon receiving this steem goodnews.
This very steem goodnews that once saved me (and my bank account balance lol)

Who are Youth Corpers

Youth corpers are fresh graduates of universities and Polytechnics, who immediately after graduation are obligated by the Nigerian Law to serve the country for a period of one year.

Our Presentation Was Focused On:

• What cryptocurrency is.
• What steem is and why steemit.
• How to earn using steemit.
• How and why to invest on steem as a cryptocurrency.
• Why a decentralized system is far better than a centralized system.

Sharing the Steem love

As it is tradition for us, we gifted some lucky individuals with N1,000 each. This is meant to take care of their internet data subscription as most youths over here find it difficult to pay for internet data subscriptions.

Successes recorded

• Over 150 people now know what steemit and the Steem Blockchain is
• The joy on their faces was a success for me personally
• A handful of the corpers penned down their name for guidance during steemit registration.
  (Others, of course, I'm sure will be curious at night and will register on steemit themselves.)

Challenges recorded

• Little time was given for the presentation (we however made judicious use of it and some who needed more enlightenment on how the system works flocked around us after the closing of their meeting, beckoning on us for more information)
• We were able to gift only few corpers with the internet data subscription money we shared to a lucky few. ( we will love to do even better if we can get more upvote and sponsors.)
• We were kind of restricted by the CDS coordinator from taking pictures or video recordings; "for security reasons" she said. (We were able to get some pictures though)
