Day 907 (Daily Post)
Day 907. It is actually sunny here this morning and wonder of wonders the sky is also predominantly free of clouds which is pretty frigging awesome because I am struggling to recall the last day that I got sunshine like this. It does look like it will not last for long though and more thunderstorms will be rolling into the area later today so I am going to get everything as charged as I can this morning while this fair weather is here.
The weather has been uncooperative of late in just about every regard but at least it is not frigid cold outside and being able to cool down is always possible by dunking my head in that outdoor solar heated tub that I have in the 'yard' which is always quite refreshing and makes for a nice way to start the day.
The ticks have been pretty bad lately and I guess that all the rain has them moving around a good bit (or just helps their population grow or both) and I am going to have to mow the 'yard' again a lot sooner than I thought I would especially because with all the recent rain the vegetation is growing rather rapidly.
Anyway I am feeling a bit slow witted this morning and do not have much to share so I am going to just keep it short and sweet, get back to sipping my espresso and slowly waking up.

It is indeed a pretty view @homesteaderscoop and @nateonsteemit! I live off grid in Western North Carolina and although I do forage a good bit I also tend to just 'eat it as I pick it' and generally do not store much of what I forage. As for what I do that is a heavily loaded question and there are nine hundred and eight days so far of me detailing that in daily posts and other forms of media so I will leave it up to you to answer that question instead of attempting to summarize it here.
