10 minutes of perfection

I landed at Trestles at sunrise yesterday, and boy am I glad I got up early for that. The sunrise was one of the most unique sunrises I've ever seen. Not a cloud around, which isn't all that unique, but the winds were blowing slightly off shore, and the water was like a sheet of glass. Perfect 5-7 foot sets rolled through, as if they were saying "good morning, you're welcome". The lineup was packed as expected, but that didn't change the mood in the water. Trestles is a destination, and people prey for days like this one. Young or old, it didnt matter. Plenty of waves for everyone, and tranquility was at an all time high.
Make sure the next time you think about sleeping in, consider what you could be missing.
