A tour around my village.Photographs included.

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another post and I hope you all will get time to read and know about my village and witness it’s beauty through the photography i did and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Today, I decided to go to an apple orchard that lies on the top of one of the hills surrounding my village. It was actually my cousin who insisted me to take him on walk and I after thinking about where to go I finally decided to take him to the orchard. As it’s the spring season here in Kashmir, the various scientifically recommended growth regulators are being frequently used these days to be able to produce a good quantity and quality crop at the end of this year. I too took it as an opportunity to take some growth regulators with me along with the a spray pump that actually works on a battery to spray the regulators on the trees that yield a little crop. My cousin had reached my place yesterday, and he was quite desperate to visit the farms so as to witness the incredible beauty and the charm , that our area bears these days and have been insisting me to go on a walk right from yesterday.

It was at 11 AM in the morning after I was done with all my morning chores, I set off along with my cousin towards the orchard. Just outside my house is a small hill, which needs to be climbed to reach the orchard. On reaching the top of the hill, the whole of the area, is visible and one always is tempted to spend more time over the top of the hill because it gives the feeling of being over the roof of the world as all the surrounding areas of our village are visible from the point. Our village is small with an overall area of about 2 km² seems very beautiful from the top and it makes one to realise the essence and the beauty of the village we live in.Our village is actually a part of long valley that extent to the snow clad mountains on the west. The snow mountains add beauty to the backdrop.

It was fun walking together, and then spraying the regulators over the trees there in the orchard. The blossoms have bloomed and it’s quite pleasing to spend some time in the orchard these days. The anticipated good production of crops and the hopefulness of a quality crop this year makes the orchards tempting and one can find peace and pleasure to spend more time with the trees, helping with different techniques of quality production and disease protection.

It was at 12:45 P.m. when we headed towards our place as it was Friday today, and we had to offer the congregational prayers in the Grand mosque. While I was on my way back to my place, I again spent some time on the top of the hill, I sat in serenity and observed my area very keenly. I tried to figure out the problems that the people of my area usually face due to its topography and even thought of some solutions, that maybe would come handy someday.

My cousin bid adieu and left for his place at around 4 PM. I wasn’t willing to see him going back, but her mother had already arrived and didn’t let him stay here and took her back with her. My cousins, and I even after spending a little time together, always make it special that we can cherish for long.
